Village products symbolise the identity, uniqueness and strength of the local community, especially when the products are produced collectively by the villagers themselves. The One Village, One Product, 1K1P initiative at the Kampung Menengah Hall in Temburong District is an example of community success through the production of Mini Currypuff.

The production of Mini Currypuff is carried out by the Women's Bureau of the Village Consultative Council, MPK Kampung Menengah. With the improved quality, packaging and marketing strategies, the product is hope to be more competitive. According to the Kampung Menengah Village Head, the implementation of the 1K1P programme has opened up socio-economic opportunities and introduced village products to the public.

Apart from boosting the community economy, the 1K1P initiative also encourage cooperation, self-reliance and entrepreneurship among villagers. It can also strengthen local community ties through the production of products with local identity.
